Montgomery firefighters battle two-alarm fire at commercial building
Montgomery firefighters have battled a two-alarm fire at a commercial building.
Montgomery Fire/Rescue Assistant Chief Stanley Cooper said the fire started at around 4:30 this morning at a building in the 2000 block of Mobile Road, not far from West Fairview Avenue.
Cooper said firefighters saw heavy smoke and flames when they arrived at the single-story building.
He says no one was found inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
