Juvenile male killed in Montgomery shooting

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a juvenile male.

Lt. David Wise tells Action 8 News that officers and fire medics responded around 7:12 p.m. Friday to the 3600 block of Madolyn Lane after receiving a call that a person had been shot. That location is in the Forest Hills neighborhood.

Once they arrived, they found the male victim, identified as 17-year-old Zaveon Simpkins, dead on the scene.

No word on any suspects at this time.
