Montgomery Police Officer Charged With Electronic Solicitation of a Child
A Montgomery police officer has been charged with Electronic Solicitation of a Child. MPD initiated disciplinary proceedings Thursday against 22-year-old police officer Nicholas Zachary.
MPD became aware of the criminal allegations and launched an investigation, placing Zachary on administrative leave March 27.
Zachary joined MPD in 2024 and was assigned to the Training and Career Development Bureau. According to MPD, there is no further information available in connection with this ongoing investigation.
