New hotel opens in Millbrook
A new TownePlace Suites hotel has opened just off Interstate 65 in Millbrook.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held yesterday.
This hotel is the 30th RAM Hotel property in that company’s family of locations.
It’s considered a huge milestone by the mayor and city leaders.
“We’ve got a lot more coming up,” Millbrook Mayor Al Kelley told Action 8 News. “I wish I could just wrap it up into a big ball, but there’s so much out there. As a matter of fact, we just left 17 Springs a few minutes ago with another prospect on another lot and that will be our last lot. Everything else is sold.”
17 Springs is Millbrook’s new recreation and retail complex.
“Our philosophy of doing business has always been if you’re going to invest into a relationship, then the invest long-term,” RAM Hotels President Rinkesh Patel said.
The hotel is located on Hospitality Lane, which is just off Interstate 65 at Exit 179.
