Troy police investigating homicide that happened in large crowd

Troy police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in a large crowd.

Police say just after 10:30PM last night, they were called to the 100 block of Dunn Circle on a report of a large crowd and loud noise. That location is just off of South Brundidge Street.

Officers say as they arrived, several gunshots were heard. Police then found a male on the ground with gunshot wounds. They began CPR, but the male died.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information that may help the investigation to come forward.
