Man charged in death of 3-year-old boy

Montgomery police have charged a man in the death of a toddler.

The shooting happened around 1:45 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022 in the 400 block of N. Decatur Street.

Once police arrived, they found 3-year-old Ja’Seyon Green, of Montgomery, with a life-threatening gunshot wound. Green was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Police have charged Kourtney Brisker with three counts of capital murder. Those charges include Capital Murder-Weapon Fired From Vehicle, Capital Murder from Outside a Vehicle and Capital Murder of a Victim Less than 14 Years Old.

He was taken into custody on May 1 and is currently in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
