Selma man charged with attempted murder after woman was shot in Montgomery

Montgomery police have charged a Selma man with attempted murder.

Police say 31-year-old Daniel Orderick Vincent shot a woman in the left side of her head, left leg and left arm. Police say the shooting happened around 8:50AM yesterday in the 6300 block of Xenia Street in Montgomery, which is not far from Wares Ferry Road.

Police say Vincent was arrested yesterday in a parking lot in the 5400 block of Atlanta Highway. That’s in an area between Eastern Boulevard and Carol Villa Drive.
