ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery City Council approves renovations to Montgomery Zoo

The Montgomery City Council approved a massive improvement project at the Montgomery Zoo.
Council members voted Tuesday to approve a $4.2 million plan to update the zoo’s entrance.
The project includes new administrative offices, ticket windows, gift shop and restrooms. A new plaza area would be built at the entrance.
Construction is expected to start next month and take about a year to complete.
