Marion man on trial for 2021 murder of his wife

A Marion man is on trial in Perry County — for the murder of his wife.
Thirty-seven year old Jimmy Woods is accused of murder — and abuse of a corpse.
His wife was found dead hours after a fire at their home.
Her body was discovered on the other side of town — in the back of the couple’s pick up truck.
The trial got underway Tuesday and is expected to wrap up by the end of the week.
The Honorable Collins Pettaway, Jr. is the presiding judge.
