Riverwalk Stadium up for “Best Double-A Ballpark” in America

The home of the Montgomery Biscuits is up for a new distinction.

Newsweek has nominated Riverwalk Stadium as one of the 15 best Double-A ballparks in the country.

Riverwalk Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Ray Double-A affiliate, has a cool industrial feel from its former life as a train shed and its position among the old warehouses on the Alabama River.

Newsweek says the most fascinating part of attending a Biscuits game is when staff members shoot actual biscuits into the stands.

In addition to hosting Biscuits baseball, the stadium is also home to a number of other games and events.
