Too Little Sleep Could Increase Risk for Metabolic Disorders

A new study says too little sleep or too much tossing and turning can make you more susceptible to suffer from a metabolic disorder, like type 2 diabetes or obesity.

European researchers found a direct link between sleep and the body’s ability to control food intake, metabolize sugars and keep its energy balance.

They say many people are simply not getting enough sleep and one reason may be the increased use of electronic gadgets like tablets and gaming devices.
