Alabama National Guard unit deploying to Romania

An Alabama National Guard unit from our area is deploying to Romania.

The 214th Military Police Company will hold a ceremony at 10AM on Saturday, June 14, at Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City.

The unit is deploying to provide services to Romania as part of Alabama’s ongoing State Partnership Program. This deployment supports the continued collaboration between the Alabama National Guard and Romanian forces.

Romania is a nation of about 19 million people in southeast Europe and borders the Black Sea.
