Man Charged in Double Murder in Tallapoosa County
The Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department has charged a man in connection with a double homicide. Dean Stevens, 50, is charged with capital murder in the deaths of Dianna Mitchell Sharpe, 48, and Robert Wayne Mitchell, 50. Authorities say Sharpe and Mitchell where shot and killed Thursday afternoon in a home located at 424 Pate road in Cragford, which is located in Tallapoosa County. They say Stevens lived at the home.
