The Ramps Up Just As Summer Begins!
Summer is officially underway and it’s definitely going to feel every bit of it this weekend and all of next week! The heat and humidity will be ramping up. 90+ degree high temps will become the norm. It’s looking like showers and t-storms will be fewer in number.
The continuous flow of showers and t-storms into the area has ended. We’re shifting into the afternoon variety of scattered showers and storms. There should be fewer in number across the area. We’re expecting more sunshine and that will help boost temps into the lower to mid 90s for highs.
The upcoming work week is looking even hotter! Temps are expected to reach the mid to possibly upper 90s for highs. You factor in the humidity and it will probably feel more like 100. The old dreaded heat index may slowly becoming more of a factor. You should think about slowing down and taking it a little easier during those peak heating hours.
