Typical Summertime Heat & Humidity In Play This Week
Typical summertime heat and humidity will be the deal this week. Temps will climb into the lower to mid 90s for highs and heat indices climb to around 100 to 105. There will be isolated showers and t-storms around each afternoon but not all of us see them.
In the meantime, any showers or t-storms that have developed during the afternoon will weaken and die out during the evening hours. We expect a mostly clear sky with temps only falling into the lower to mid 70s overnight.
Tuesday and Wednesday will look very similar to Monday. Hot and humid conditions will be the rule. Isolated showers or t-storms will develop and they will knock the heat down in spots. Unfortunately, not all us will get the heat relief. Temps will manage the lower to mid 90s for highs. It will feel more like 100 when you factor in the humidity.
The latter half of the week does show some promise for an increase coverage of showers and t-storms. A disturbance will move into the region and help trigger more showers and t-storms. As a result, temps will have to come down a bit due to clouds and rain activity.
