Selma man killed in early Sunday morning shooting

A death investigation is underway in Selma — after a man is killed in a shooting — early Sunday morning.
Selma police continue to investigate the shooting. And two people have been detained for questioning in the case.
Selma police responded to a shooting call — on the 2500 block of Summerfield Road — at around 3 am Sunday morning. Upon arrival — officers found a gunshot victim — dead on the scene.
“That gunshot victim was identified as a black male, Anthony Marsh, age 18,” said Lt. Ray Blanks.
Blanks says officers began a detailed investigation. And a second gunshot victim was taken to the hospital — where she’s reportedly in stable condition.
“She was treated in Montgomery at Baptist South,” said Blanks.
Dallas County District Attorney Robert Turner, Jr. says two people have been detained for questioning in the case.
While police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
“At this time, we know there was some type of altercation. We’re still investigating what lead to the altercation,” said Blanks.
