Luverne woman dies in Crenshaw County crash
A two-vehicle crash in Crenshaw County has claimed the life of a Luverne woman and injured another.
The crash happened on U.S. 331 near the 55 mile marker, approximately one mile north of Luverne.
58-year-old Donna Tome was fatally injured when the car she was driving was hit by an SUV.
Tome was taken to Crenshaw Community Hospital where she later died.
The passenger in the same vehicle was also injured and transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency are investigating the crash.
