Mid To Upper 90 Degree Heat Ahead

We are easing back into a typical summer time weather pattern over the weekend.  There will be scattered showers and t-storms around but not as many as we’ve seen lately.  The heat is what we will be noticing over the weekend into early next week.  It looks like those mid to upper 90s will be returning and sticking around for several days.

High pressure will be the main weather feature controlling our weather.  We expect mainly scattered showers or t-storms during the afternoon and early evening hours.  Temps will on the rise and lower 90s are likely Saturday and mid 90s by Sunday.   Temps will continue to climb and we’re facing mid to upper 90s early next week.  The humidity will increase as well and that will lead to heat indices around 100 to 105.  Fortunately, there will be showers and t-storms around to knock the heat off in spots.
