Second suspect arrested in Montgomery gunfight

A second person has been arrested in a Montgomery gunfight.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Pedro Gwon Bennett was taken into custody Tuesday and charged in connection to the shootout over the weekend.
Deputies were called around 8:30 p.m. Friday to the 6800 block of Atlanta Highway after receiving a call that there was an active gunfight involving multiple people. According to court records, it happened at the Chevron gas station.
Authorities say all of the suspects fled the scene prior to their arrival.
Deputies located and arrested one of the suspects, 19-year-old King Walker, the next morning. Walker was charged with Attempted Murder and Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Building. Walker is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility on a $90,000 bond.
Bennett, Jr. is also charged with Attempted Murder and Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle. Bennett, Jr. is in custody on a $90,000 bond.
