Students learn about medical careers at Jackson Hospital fair

Dozens of high school and college students got to learn about different career opportunities at Jackson Hospital.

The hospital held a career fair yesterday to showcase the different employment opportunities offered there, including nursing, administration, environmental services and much more.
Students also got the chance to participate in mock interviews and learn about the different training programs the hospital offers.
“We’ve had career days before, but we’ve now re-instituted them in our Stronger Together campaign where we are bringing the community involved with us different services that we are providing and also to re-educate the community on the importance of Jackson Hospital to the Montgomery community,” Interim Jackson Hospital CEO Ron Dreskin told Action 8 News.
Representatives from more than 20 departments where there to talk with students.
