Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama donates thousands to Montgomery Back to School Bash

For a third consecutive year, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama is donating thousands of dollars to Montgomery Public Schools to help sponsor its upcoming Back to School Bash.
HMMA Vice President and CAO Robert Burns presented the donation to School Superintendent Dr. Zickeyous Byrd yesterday.
The money will help fund the free school supplies, food and activities for the back to school event.  In addition, Hyundai has invested more than $500,000 in local robotics education.
“Here we are in a third year ready to provide $25,000 in sponsorships to allow that event to happen again this year,” Burns said. “I’m just so happy for us to continue this partnership and be able to grow in a positive way for the students for the teachers and for our team members to give back at the same time.”
“We are incredibly excited for this coming Saturday again, where we going to have our Back to School Bash again and Hyundai is going to provide our students with the back to school supplies that they need, and so again, we are incredibly excited, we are so thankful and we are looking forward to this great event on Saturday,” Byrd said.
The Back to School Bash will be Saturday, August 2, at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl from 9 to 12.
