Baptist Health and UAB have announced that they have reached a tentative agreement with UnitedHealthcare on a new health insurance contract.

Baptist Health has released this statement:

“Baptist Health and UAB Medicine have reached a tentative agreement with UnitedHealthcare on a new health insurance contract — one that places the well-being of our patients at its heart. This agreement means that UnitedHealthcare members can continue to receive care from all Baptist Health, UAB and UAB-affiliated medical providers without interruption. We understand how stressful insurance changes can be, and we deeply appreciate your patience and trust while our teams worked tirelessly on your behalf.

“Over the next week, both organizations will finalize the remaining details of this agreement, which will then carry a multi-year term. This commitment underscores our shared promise to deliver dependable, compassionate care and to ensure that every patient across Alabama can continue to access the high-quality services they deserve—today, tomorrow and for years to come.”
