MPD Investigating Alleged Sex Assault Involving a Student

The Montgomery Police Department is investigating an alleged sexual assault involving a student.

The department didn’t say when the alleged incident may have happened or which school the child attends, but according to Denise Barnes, the department’s spokesperson, the investigation began Monday, November 30.

MPD also did not say whether the alleged incident involved another student or an adult.

In addition to MPD, Montgomery Public Schools and Child Protect are also assisting with the investigation.

According to MPD, “preliminary evidence does not substantiate the original allegation.”
