Montgomery man arrested on charges of firing into police officer’s vehicle
Montgomery police have arrested a man after they say he fired into a police officer’s vehicle overnight.
Police say an officer was on the way to a service call, when he observed a suspicious man in the 5000 block of Vaughn Road. When the officer attempted to make contact, the man fired into the officer’s vehicle.
The officer returned fire and after a brief foot chase, the suspect was taken into custody.
Police charged 22-year-old Zachery Aaron McQueen with attempted murder and discharging firearm into an occupied vehicle.
McQueen was taken into custody, and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
There were no injuries reported at the time of the incident. There is no further information available.
