ACTION 8 UPDATE: All-clear after false report of a possible threat at Auburn University
ACTION 8 UPDATE:
Auburn University officials have given the all-clear after a false report was made of a possible threat on campus.
Officials say after a thorough search, authorities determined there was no threat to the Auburn University community.
ORIGINAL:
There is heavy police presence on the campus of Auburn University.
Details are not known at this time, but Auburn University Campus Safety and Security sent out an alert around 5:10 p.m. saying the officers are around the area of the Ralph Brown Drauhon Library on Mell Street.
Officials ask people to avoid the area at this time.
