Greenville’s Ritz Theatre Gearing up for its 43rd Season
The Ritz Theatre has been a staple in Greenville for 90 years. Transforming from a movie theater to a live action theatre the iconic company is now preparing to embark on its 43rd season.
From its beginning in 1935 the theatre has seen many transitions yet the Ritz’s community impact continues to grow with performances and events that help create big culture in the small town.
With community shows, concerts and pageants its stage has paved the path for local entertainment.
The 43rd season at The Ritz is set to start October 2, 2025 with a tribute to Jimmy Buffett. Additional shows are scheduled from October 2025 to February 2026 of various performances.
Saturday, September 6, fans are given the chance to purchase a piece of the theatre’s rich costume history during Greenville’s Camillia City Fest. Costumes from previous year performances will be available downtown Greenville from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
