Mid 90 Degree Heat Possible

The countdown to the end of summer is underway but don’t expect the heat to back off anytime soon. We remain in a very familiar weather pattern and there’s little change in sight for now.  High pressure continues to be the dominate weather feature over the area.  The high helps maintain the mainly dry and warm conditions.  We expect temps to top out in the lower to mid 90s through the upcoming weekend. Rain chances continue to remain slim to none all week.  An east to northeasterly wind flow is still in play and that continues to send drier air into the area.  The drier air makes those mornings feel rather nice. There are some signs that moisture may finally start to increase early next week.  We will need to introduce the chance for some rain activity.  It’s probably not a drought buster but we will have to settle for anything we can get these days.
