Two women stabbed in Montgomery; one dies of injuries

Montgomery police say they were called to a hospital where two women were being treated for stab wounds.

Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that police arrived at the hospital just after 2 this morning. She says one of the women who was being treated later died of her injuries. She said the other woman’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

McGriff said the stabbing happened in the 3200 block of Raintree Drive, which is just off of Virginia Loop Road.

No other information has been released.
