Pine Level celebrates opening of its town hall

The town of Pine Level in Autauga County has cut the ribbon on its new town hall.

Zachary Bigley, the town’s first mayor, says town hall was a home that has been remodeled, sitting in the heart of downtown.

“This is going to give us a place, where if they have questions, if they need information, they have a place where they can go,” Mayor Bigley said. “If they need to schedule a meeting with the mayor or the town clerk, they have a place where they could show up. We actually have a designated room for our council meetings. We were meeting in the fire department, we were meeting at the church, so this just gives us — the best way I can describe it is as an establishment.”

“This town hall represents vision turned into reality,” Stacey Little, the chairman-elect of the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce said. “It represents neighbors coming together, leaders stepping up and a community that refused to give up until the dream of incorporation and local leaders became a reality.”

The town of Pine Level was incorporated two years ago today.
