TICKLED PINK OUT PARTY: Thank you for making our 11th anniversary event a success!
All of us at Action 8 want to thank you for making our 11th Annual Tickled Pink Out Party a big success.
With multiple events taking place in downtown Montgomery, hundreds of people came out to Riverwalk Stadium Saturday for our annual fundraiser benefiting the fight against breast cancer.
All proceeds from ticket and T-shirt sales benefited the Cancer Wellness Foundation, which serves people in 32 counties in our area. The Cancer Wellness Foundation helps people with various forms of cancer in all kinds of ways.
We honored breast cancer survivors with a parade through Riverwalk Stadium led by this year’s Tickled Pink Survivor Makeover Winner Irma McGlown.
Last year’s Tickled Pink was the first time we moved the event outdoors. Prior to that, it was held annually at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl.
Like last year, the event featured many fun activities for children, such as bouncy houses and remote-controlled cars to drive. We also had a special area for anyone to sit and watch football games on TV.
We are still counting up the proceeds, but we want to make sure each of you know how grateful all of us at Action 8 are for your support through the years.
