ONLY ON 8: Day 4 of the Great Alabama 650
It is the fourth day of the Great Alabama 650 race.
The country’s longest paddle race started Saturday in Northeast Alabama and will wrap up on Tuesday, October 14 at Fort Morgan.
After day 4, Arizona native Christopher Thomas is currently leading the pack in the male solo category.
In the female solo category, Florida native Salli O’Donnell is in first place.
And in the two-person tandem team category and the overall leaders, Alabama natives Bobby Johnson and Matt Taylor are the frontrunners.
Spectators can follow virtually at AL650.com, where a live map will report up-to-the minute updates on the racer’s progress.
In addition, this year’s event features an app where you can follow along using your mobile device.
