Some Really Nice Fall Weather Conditions Ahead
We’re on the backside of a frontal passage and this will gradually allow cooler air to move into the region. North to northeasterly winds will usher in the cooler air and temps will drop into the lower 50s for lows over the weekend.
In the meantime, the clouds overhead now will slowly break up with skies becoming partly cloudy. Temps will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s for lows overnight. Looks like the northeasterly winds will still be in play tonight and into Friday. We expect a bit more sunshine areawide but temps still only manage upper 70s to lower 80s for highs Friday afternoon.
The upcoming weekend will be trending clear and cooler. High pressure will settle over the deep south and that will help provide us sunny and cooler conditions. Daytime highs will hover in the upper 70s to lower 80s and overnight lows will drop into the lower to mid 50s. There could even be a few spots in our northern counties that fall into the upper 40s for lows. This should give us a real taste of fall.
