Registered sex offender faces new charges in Lowndes County
A registered sex offender has been arrested on multiple sex charges in Lowndes County, the sheriff’s office says.
Lt. Tony Green of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office says 46-year-old Shonderious Ferlando Johnson is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in White Hall last week.
Johnson is charged with sodomy, attempted rape and 34 counts of sex offender registration violations.
Green says Johnson was apprehended in a joint law enforcement operation that included the Butler Co. Sheriff’s Office, Greenville Police and the U.S. Marshal.
