The Montgomery Regional Airport has announced that it will add flights to Houston starting in April.

The airport says United Express flights, operated by SkyWest Airlines, will offer nonstop service to Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) beginning April 7, 2026.

This will provide access to one of the nation’s largest United hub airports, unlocking hundreds of one-stop destinations across the United States, Latin America, and beyond, airport officials say.

“This is a monumental milestone for Montgomery Regional Airport and our entire community,” Loyd Jenkins, Interim Executive Director of Montgomery Regional Airport, said. “The addition of nonstop service to Houston represents more than just a new United Express flight. It’s a new gateway for business, tourism, and opportunity in our region.”

Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM) offers daily flights by American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines to Atlanta, Georgia (ATL); Charlotte, North Carolina (CLT); Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas (DFW); Washington, D.C. (DCA); and now Houston, Texas (IAH).
