Demopolis Police Ask for Public’s Help in Murder and Fatal Hit & Run Investigation

From the West Alabama Newsroom– Authorities in Demopolis need your help to try and solve a fatal hit and run accident — and a murder.
Demopolis Police continue to investigate the city’s first murder of the year.
They say Ray Rowser, Jr. was shot and killed at a trailer on Blacks Drive back in October.
“Any small details that somebody might not even think that makes a difference could help this case,” said Lt. Tim Soronen.
Police are also investigating a recent fatal hit and run accident on Bell Grayson Road.
“We want everybody to be on the lookout for a 2000, 2004 Dodge Durango that’s got damage to the front,” said Lt. Rex Flowers.
No arrests have been made in either case.
