Showers or storms early Sunday; Cold blast arrives late Sunday
Saturday was a very warm and fairly sunny day. Montgomery reached 82° during the afternoon, 10° above the November 8th average high of 72°. Saturday night remains fairly warm with lows near 60°. Otherwise, expect a partly cloudy sky overnight with isolated showers. Rain coverage may increase across far south Alabama early Sunday morning in advance of a strong cold front.
The front pushes through and southeast of our area Sunday. Temperatures may warm to near 70° early Sunday afternoon, but drop quickly late Sunday and Sunday night. Low temperatures range from the low to mid 30s early Monday morning, with lower wind chill values. Monday looks like a sunny, but cold and windy, winter-like day. High temperatures may only be in the 40s to low 50s at best.
Monday night looks even colder, with lows in the 20s area-wide. Veteran’s Day may be a bit milder, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Tuesday night looks cold again though, with lows in the low to mid 30s. The rest of the week looks warmer and mainly sunny, with high temperatures near 70° Wednesday, and in the mid 70s Thursday and Friday.
