Selma Police investigate city’s 12th homicide of the year

A murder investigation is also underway following a Saturday night shooting in Selma.

Chief Kenta Fulford says the shooting happened at around 7 pm — in the area of Washington Street and Philpot Avenue.

He says officers found 63 year old William Holley of Selma unresponsive — suffering from a gunshot wound.

Fulford says detectives are pursuing leads and conducting interviews — but no arrests have been made.
