Action 8’s Magical Christmas Toy Drive: Ray Hawthorne from Hawthorne, Atchison & Riddle
For a dozen years, Action 8 has presented our Magical Christmas Toy Drive to benefit the Salvation Army of Montgomery. One of our partners is Hawthorne, Atchison & Riddle.
From now through December 10, we are collecting new, unwrapped toys that will be distributed to registered families right here in our area.
Our Darryl Hood spoke with Ray Hawthorne from Hawthorne, Atchison & Riddle, to find out more about why it’s so important to be involved.
“I think it’s important to remember why we are here. It’s the birth of Jesus that we are celebrating and I hope that these toys make them feel good, makes them feel loved, and helps them have a good holiday season,” said Hawthorne.
Once again this year, our Toy Vault is at the Shoppes at EastChase, to the left of Books-a-Million. In the weeks to come, that space will be filled with toys, thanks to our viewers and our sponsors.
