Action 8’s Magical Christmas Toy Drive: Sophie Martin from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama
For a dozen years, Action 8 has presented our Magical Christmas Toy Drive to benefit the Salvation Army of Montgomery. One of our partners is Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama.
From now through December 10, we are collecting new, unwrapped toys that will be distributed to registered families right here in our area.
Our Ellis Eskew spoke with Sophie Martin from Blue Cross Blue Shield to find out more about why it’s so important for them to be involved.
“One of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama’s corporate values is giving back to the community, so what a better way to exemplify that corporate value than to support the Salvation Army and to partner with WAKA to really bring some joy to support children and families in the Montgomery area,” said Martin.
Once again this year, our Toy Vault is at the Shoppes at EastChase, to the left of Books-a-Million. In the weeks to come, that space will be filled with toys, thanks to our viewers and our sponsors.
