Man dead in Montgomery shooting

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead.

It happened around 6:20 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Courtland Drive. That area is not far from West Fairview Avenue.

Once officers arrived, they found an adult male dead from a gunshot wound.

This is the second fatal shooting in the Capital City in the last three days.

15-year-old Tyrell Foster, of Montgomery, was shot and killed Friday night in the 3500 block of Fairground Road.

No word on suspects in either case at this time.
