Autauga County man sentenced to 965 years in prison for child sexual abuse crimes
An Autauga County man has been sentenced to nearly 1,000 years in prison after he was convicted of several crimes involving child sexual abuse.
19th Judicial Circuit Presiding Judge Amanda Baxley sentenced Jason Hudson to 965 years behind bars.
Hudson was convicted by an Autauga County jury in October and will serve 90 years for 1st degree rape (victim less than 12 years of age), 90 years for 1st degree sodomy (victim less than 12 years of age), 90 years for incest, 90 years for each of five counts of production of child pornography (victim less than 17 years of age), 20 years for sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years of age, and 10 years split on 75 counts of possession of child pornography.
Autauga County District Attorney CJ Robinson said all sentences are to run consecutively meaning he must complete one sentence before he begins serving time on the next.
Robinson said Hudson downloaded tagged images of child pornography on information sharing platforms, and the downloading of those images notified the NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children).
NCMEC then coordinated with the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office to initiate an investigation. As a result of the investigation, 1,000’s of images of obscene matter were discovered by local and state investigators in his possession including videos of male and female children as young as under 2 years old enduring rape, sodomy, sexual molestation, being tortured with sex toys, lashed with whips, urinated on, and burned by open flames while bound with rope.
In addition to the downloaded files of child pornography, Hudson made home videos of himself sexually abusing, sodomizing, and raping a child under the age of 12.
Jason Hudson’s wife Farren Jill Hudson previously plead guilty to Sodomy 1st Degree (victim less than 12 years of age) and was sentenced in July to 30 years in prison by Judge Baxley.
