Montgomery nonprofit holds annual golf tourney
A Montgomery nonprofit held its annual golf tournament in Prattville this morning.
That’s My Child hosted its Harvest Heroes Golf Classic at Robert Trent Jones Capitol Hill.
87 golfers were on hand to help raise money for the organization that has impacted the lives of 300+ Montgomery youth who are breaking cycles of poverty through job training, mentorship and education.
“All of these funds that we collect go directly to supporting our students and our families, so they don’t have to pay a dime to come to our programs,” said Founder and CEO Charles Lee. “We have so many wonderful great people to make sure that they have a safe place to come to learn about program, whether it’s music program, whether it’s a work development program, whether it’s entrepreneurship, whether it’s after school tutoring, they have that safe place.”
Participants in today’s tournament also had the chance to win a car sponsored by Greenville Automotive.
