Cold Friday night, dry Saturday, rain Sunday, more rain next week

Friday was a fairly sunny but cool day. Morning lows were in the upper 20s to low 30s in most locations. Despite sunshine, temperatures only warmed into the mid 50s Friday afternoon. Friday night looks cold again. However, temperatures may remain slightly higher than Thanksgiving night, thanks to some clouds drifting over our area overnight, acting like a blanket. Still, overnight lows range from the low to mid 30s.

Saturday looks partly cloudy and could be milder, with highs possibly in the low to mid 60s with enough sunshine. Our area remains dry through the evening, so the Iron Bowl in Auburn stays dry, but cool with temperatures in the low 50s at kickoff.  Saturday night lows only fall into the 40s, thanks to increasing cloud-cover. Sunday looks cloudy, with showers possible throughout the day as a cold front moves through our area.

Sunday night looks drier and colder again behind the front. The drier weather lasts only a short time, as rain returns late Monday through early Tuesday. A coastal area of low pressure departs Tuesday night, resulting in dry and cool weather late Tuesday through Wednesday. Clouds quickly increase Thursday, with another chance for rain Friday. However, it looks like next weekend could be drier (and cool).
