Wreath laying ceremony held to remember fallen police officers
A ceremony was held in Montgomery Tuesday to remember fallen police officers.
The annual wreath laying ceremony took place at Larkin Park in the King Hill Historic District. Larkin Park is named after the late Montgomery City Councilman Tracy Larkin.
One by one, the names of 27 Montgomery police officers killed in the line of duty were read out loud.
Each wreath, with the help of students at Valiant Cross Academy, were placed at the base of the trees.
The event is organized annually by And Justice For All, Inc. and Citizens That Care, Inc.
