Luverne City Hall to move
The city of Luverne is in the process of moving city hall, which will affect where residents pay their utility bills and conduct other city business.
City hall has been in a historic building that was constructed nearly 100 years ago. It is located at 22 East Fifth Street.
The new location at 886 Glenwood Road leased from the state of Alabama will house all city and utility departments.
Luverne City Hall will close on Friday, December 12, and re-open at its new location on Monday, December 15.
