Sunshine Friday; More clouds, showers Saturday; Colder Sunday

Friday afternoon remains mostly sunny with temperatures approaching 70°. Clouds increase Friday night into Saturday morning, keeping temperatures much warmer than Thursday night. Lows range from the 40s to low 50s. Saturday looks partly to mostly cloudy but rather warm with high temperatures approaching 70°. Isolated showers appear possible during the afternoon.

Showers may become a bit more widely scattered Saturday night in advance of a cold front. Rain likely departs our area by sunrise Sunday. The sky clears Sunday as the cold front pushes to our southeast. Sunday looks like a cold and windy day in the wake of the front, with afternoon temperatures in the 40s and lower wind chill values. Sunday night looks very cold, with lows in the low 20s.

Next week begins with continued cold. Monday looks sunny, but with high temperatures only in the upper 40s to low 50s. Monday night looks very cold again, with lows in the low 20s. However, temperatures gradually warm through the end of the week. High temperatures approach 70° Thursday and Friday. We may have another chance for rain Thursday as our next cold front arrives. If the front moves through our area, next weekend could be dry with sunshine.
