8 ON YOUR SIDE CONSUMER ALERT: Ford is recalling nearly 273,000 vehicles because they may roll away after the transmission is put into park.
CBS News reports the recall affects certain F-150 Lightning pickup trucks from model years 2022-2026; Mustang Mach-E vehicles from model years 2024-2026; and Maverick pickups from model years 2025-2026.
Ford plans to send letters to owners on Feb. 2, 2026.
The company blames a software problem, which can be fixed remotely or at a dealership.
