Midweek outlook:

Dry weather sticks around through New Year’s Day thanks to high pressure overhead. Expect mostly clear skies, chilly mornings near 30°, and a nice warm-up into the lower 60s by Thursday afternoon.

Late week changes:

Rain returns late Friday into Saturday as a cold front moves through. Expect periods of rain and a few thunderstorms. Highs stay in the 60s with lows in the 40s.

Looking ahead:

High pressure builds back in early next week, bringing us back to sunny and dry conditions—because Alabama weather loves a quick wardrobe change.
