Montgomery man killed in crash on Interstate 85

Montgomery police say they are investigating a collision that resulted in one fatality.

Police say at about 4:43 this morning, they were called to Interstate 85 near Eastern Boulevard in reference to a person down. At the scene, officers found a man, identified as 66-year-old Kenneth Ray Gipson of Montgomery, who sustained fatal
injuries and was pronounced dead.

Police say the investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing, and no further information is available for release.
