Troopers investigating fatal hit and run in Wilcox County
State troopers are investigating a fatal hit and run in Wilcox County.
The single-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian happened around 2:45 a.m. Sunday on Alabama 5 near mile marker 6, approximately two miles south of Pine Hill.
Troopers say the pedestrian, 32-year-old DeQuarius Pritchett, of Arlington, was fatally injured when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.
Pritchett was pronounced dead on the scene.
The vehicle involved in the crash, along with the driver, are currently unknown.
